Urban Collide hosted their very first K-Pop talent showcase, Korenation, on January 21, 2017 at the Korean Canadian Cultural Association. This event featured khiphop/kpop dancers and singers from all over Canada, such as East2West, Saljia, and HAVOC – just to name a few – as a chance for them to show Toronto what they’re made of.
Led by VYbE K-Pop Instructor, Steven Chau, EVO was brought to life at Korenation, featuring original choreography from Steven, and other VYbE Instructors, Jasmin Yeung and Juliana Qian. EVO incorporated urban styles, such as popping and waacking, into their khiphop set that made the crowd go wild. Check out their full set here! Steven teaches K-Pop Open Classes on Thursdays at 7:45PM and Sundays at 5:15PM. Juliana teaches Girls Hip Hop Open Classes on Wednesdays at 7:45PM.
Dancers: Steven Chau, Jasmin Yeung, Juliana Qian, Vivian Tran, Eujean Kim, Vanessa Hu, Jordan Nguyen
